"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12
The Arlington Youth Group (AYG) are a diverse group of young men and women who know how to serve, how to worship and how to have a good time (often all at once). There are several times throughout the week when the teens meet for various reasons. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 they meet for Bible Study at the Annex (the house next door to the building) and to prepare their minds for worship. During worship you will see the teens all seated together towards the front of the church, actively participating and setting an "example for the believers." On most Sunday evenings at 6:00 you will find them once again meeting in the Annex. This however is usually a time of fellowship and fun. Sometimes they will have a devotional or they may have a Wii tournament, a pizza party, a basketball game, or just sit around and play board games. On Wednesday evenings they meet once again at the Annex for Bible Study. Wednesdays are special because they are led by members of our Young Professionals group, who have become Christian mentors and teachers for the young men and women who are preparing to leave home for college and the world.
All are welcome to stop in and check out what is going on at the AYG. We love seeing new faces and we never send anyone away a stranger.
