January 2011

___________________________________________________________________

Greetings to each of you from the warm Island of Jamaica! These are days of challenge as well as blessings. We have been so blessed to have several "missionaries" visit Jamaica in the past few weeks and more scheduled in the next 2 months. Each of these guests were "blessed & were blessings" to our schools, churches, etc. It was such a joy to see the love and faith that these "ambassadors" displayed in the VBS, Girls' Reformatory, Basic Schools, churches and the Cornerstone Academy. Here is a list of these precious 'heroes of the faith.'

December 2010:  We were so blessed to have our CCCWM Director from Haiti, Charlie Collins with us in Jamaica for a few days. Charlie has been such a blessing for all of his work, dedication and giving to the Lord. Thank you brother Charlie!

December 2010-January 2011: ANDERSON UNIVERSITY TEAM. This group was directed by Pastor Patrick Probst from Faith Community Church in Noblesville. Anne Shryock-Ashley Buck-Chelsea Stalf-Emily Gehbauer-Katie Porter-Kimmie Icenogel-Kyla Metzger-Leslie Rideout-Lindsey Rispens-Matt Daughtery-Pastor Patrick Probst
Great job Anderson University!

December 2010: Naomi Fehsenfeld was a blessing to many children as she worked with the Anderson team & in our community. Naomi, a school teacher in Hamilton County, Indiana has a vision to return, one day, hopefully, to serve as a missionary to Jamaica.

January 2011: Lee Redigger & friend "Larry" were busy preparing his future home in Jamaica. Some day he will be returning to our area of Jamaica with his precious wife, Nicola and son Micah. Lee and Nicole have served as campus administrators here in Golden Grove in the past.

January 20th, 2011: Bob and Jan Hopkins & two friends from Michigan arrived in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on board a cruise ship and we were blessed to have them visit our campus in Golden Grove. The Hopkins family are members of the 6-Point Wesleyan Church in Sheridan.

February 9th, 2011: Mike and Ann Casey will be coming to Jamaica for about 3 weeks. We are so happy to have them return to this Island where they have served the Lord on many previous visits. Mike is a member of the Board of Directors of Christ Community World Missions.  Welcome Mike and Ann!

February 14th (Valentine's Day) 2011: Karen and Steve James plus 4 other visitors will be arriving to Jamaica on a cruise ship in Ocho Rios. We will be so blessed to meet them and bring them to the Golden Grove Campus for a few hours. The James family has been very much involved in the Jamaica missions in the past. Karen James is a member of the CCCWM Board of Directors. Welcome to Jamaica Steve, Karen and other guests!

February 15th, 2011: Steffani Terry & Emilee Carney from Hamilton County, Indiana will be arriving in Montego Bay and will be spending more than a week with us. Steffani is our granddaughter, the daughter of Stephen and Julia Terry. This family has been so instrumental in opening the Jamaica missions in the past. Emilee's family was involved in opening our first missions down here.  Also, Steffani and Emilee will be involved in the different Basic Schools where they will work with small children each day. Welcome Steffani and Emilee!

February 28-March 6th 2011: Ray Yoder and Pastor Larry Renihan. We will be so honored to have these two CCCWM Directors in Jamaica. Pastor Larry is our chairman and we are praying that his health will allow him to make this visit. Welcome CCCWM Directors!

March 15th, 2011: Jack and Winona will be flying back to Indiana for a few weeks or months. Please pray for Winona that she will have the strength for this journey. We are looking forward to seeing all of you! Love and blessings!

SPECIAL PRAYER FOR OUR MISSIONS

Will you please pray for our precious children, teachers, pastors & workers down in Santa Cruz, Bolivia?

This is a powerful ministry plus a school for nearly 200 students.  And at this moment, the work is facing a challenge from the country's revolutionary socialist government.

Due to new government rules relative to operating our private school,

we are facing a financial challenge and deficit of $4,500.00 in meeting teachers-pastors-workers salaries and government required benefits.

This ministry has experienced several miracles in the past and we are urgently praying for this challenge to be met.
