| Oral St. Patrick Walters is the Pastor of the Coral Springs Church of God; a church that is focused on impacting and shaping a generation and its community through worship, prayer, lifestyle and the word of God. Pastor Walters is known for his passion and desire to do the will of God with a Spirit of Excellence. His motto “When excellence becomes a tradition, there is no end to greatness”
Pastor Oral Walters was born in the small town of Point Hill, Jamaica, thereafter he, his dad, mom and other siblings migrated to Yonkers, New York. In June 1978, he graduated from Charles E. Gorton High School; a few months later, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and retired after fourteen years service.
During his tenure with the United States Air Force he earned numerous certificates of merit, commendation medals and an Associate Degree in Applied Science from their Community College. While serving in the Air Force, Pastor Walters continued his studies at Iona College, in New Rochelle, New York; he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
In April, 1993, Pastor Walters relocated to the sunshine state of Florida. During this time he attended Monument of Faith Worship Center, under the leadership of Bishop James Francis. Bishop Francis, recognizing the hand of God on his life and the potential for greatness that lies within him, recommended him to take the Ministerial Internship Program (M.I.P.) of the Church of God; he graduated successfully.
Pastor Walters is married to his beautiful wife and partner in ministry, Sandra J., and has four children, Oral II, Marc Antoine, Brandon and Fenisha. |
